Fortunately no, we see clients across all ages and stages, birth to 18 yrs.

The short answer is… NOW. Early intervention is key, and the sooner you seek services, the better the outcome – a small issue identified early is much easier to fix. ‘Let’s wait and see’ type comments from well meaning friends and family have the potential for long term damage.

We currently have no waitlist for appointments between 9am and 2 pm.

From our home-based clinic in Bateman or your child’s school or home, we’re here to make therapy accessible and convenient for your family.

Rebates can be claimed for my service through Private Health Insurance, Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plans.  Additionally, we work with NDIS participants who are self or plan managed.

Helping children with their communication at school is essential and school liaison is prioritised at Small Talk. Screening Assessments, individual and group interventions can be organised for schools. Let’s support children where they have to communicate with others the most.

Speech pathology is for parents too! A large focus of our sessions is focussed on capacity building with parents. The strategies you learn and use at home will help your child reach their goals much quicker.

The good news is that Small Talk is a relaxed and comfy home based service. There are no waiting rooms and no secretaries. It’s like visiting a friend for a coffee and play date. Kids love it! Soon it will be the highlight of their week.
