Small Talk difference
Who we are
At Small Talk, we specialize in nurturing young minds and helping them thrive. From early language development to literacy skills, our tailored programs cater to children from 0 to 18 years old. With evidence-based techniques and a personal touch, we’re dedicated to seeing your child succeed.
Located in our home-based clinic in Bateman, we take the time to get to know your child and strive to make your experience a positive one. Sessions are planned to ensure your child is engaged and leaves each session looking forward to the next, while equipping you as parents to ensure you have the knowledge and skills to best support your child between sessions.
With over 30 years of experience, Claire-Marie prioritises personalised care, ensuring your child receives the attention they deserve.

How we work
Face to face appointments
We provide speech therapy appointments at our home based clinic in Bateman, Western Australia. However, we want to make therapy accessible and convenient for your family, so if your child's school or your home works best, that's what we'll do.
Workshops and training
We also value partnerships with early childhood education centres, schools and parent groups. For this reason, we provide individually tailored workshops and training, where we share practical tips and strategies for supporting language and literacy development. Kindergarten and Pre-primary screening programs are available.
